Named for the subtle scent of raindrops freshly fallen on stone, Petrichor is a testament to the unspoken but unifying nature of beauty; a name for something elusive and indefinable.

A curious contradiction, solid but fluid; the naturalistic lines of the re-imagined 19th Century corset form and flatter the wearer, sculpting without restricting. The basque waist of the bodice radiate into a cloudburst of duchesse satin, pleated and swagged into a complex yet instantly appealing panniered skirt.

Like rain on warm pavement, silk on skin, love where you weren’t seeking it; some pleasures in life transcend all rationality.
